A Moment In My Thoughts
It is 11:47 pm at night and I'm typing away, hoping that someone reads and enjoys my creative flair. Ever since I was little, I've always loved stories or maybe just loved "love". I just knew that I was in love with art. Either the graceful silhouettes drawn on a sketch pad, the sound of music and its colors filling my senses, or the nameless characters that would visually appear in my mind, I knew that I was a part of it just as much as it was a part of me.
Anthologies
I've always enjoyed a collection of short stories that had me falling in love with the characters. Although the stories were short, the characters were relatable and lived on long after I put the story away. I would love to share the series of short stories that I have written for your pleasure. They are inspired by muses that happen to be the in my life and the music that flows around me.
Novels
The musty smell from new, in-between, and old pages of a novel gets me every time. It's a like a moment of euphoria. Anyway, I digress. There is a love for novels that I've always had and I get to share my love for them by finally bring my own stories to you...my readers. I hope that these stories of mine take you to a place of escapism where we get lost into the characters and their journey in finally grasping the sometimes allusive Love.
Something About Me
As the eldest daughter of parents that migrated from Haiti, I can't remember when I decided to be a writer. All I know is that I've always wanted to tell stories. Either through a poem, song, dance, acting, and even drawing. Yes! A lot of interests. There have always been a need to share something with individuals that could identify with faith, vision, passion, creativity, and a desire to step into their purpose...once they've taken grasp of it. I want to take my readers to places where one can escape and allow moments of reflection. At least for a little while. Please enjoy my stories, blog, and helpful tips.
