Come On This Journey With Me

I'm going to be straight with you. Writing a blog is not as simple as one two three. When the decision was made for me to start writing about my literary projects, I had a whole mental visual concept going. I was going to do this, add some of that, then sprinkle a little confetti at the top to give it a color pop...Unfortunately, what I saw in my head was not matching up with my reality. Oh no! When I say that this has been an eye opening experience for me, I seriously mean it. Nothing but appreciation goes out to the bloggers that have put in the time, creativity, and content to tell us their stories.

Several years ago was when the seed was first planted for a blog. Up until that point, I was writing stories and thinking of ways to take them to the next level. This was before vlogging and picture blogs were popular. Don't even know if I'm saying it right! Lol. The problem was that the seed was planted but it was never cultivated to manifest into something tangible. You know how it is. An idea formulates and then life happens. So I let that seed remain dormant, never nurturing to its endless possibilities. I won't say potential because it was always there.

Fast forward to now, I'm unable to sit still and do nothing. I have so many things that I want to share. Ideas that are bubbling right beneath the surface waiting to burst out of me all at once. Guess that's what happens when you just sit on things that should be birthed out. Once I knew the direction I wanted to take, I began to find ways to start building something. One of my favorite things to write about is romance and as I share those fictional stories with you, other goodies will be included as well.

As you can see, I have all the suitcases lined up because this is going to be a journey filled with many twists and turns. It doesn't matter that the suitcases are old, dusty, and worn. They have everything that is needed, so "we" don't show up unprepared to our destinations. When you come to this place, I want you to enjoy our adventures together and share your thoughts.
